Onteora Scout Reservation
About Onteora Scout Reservation
Located in the heart of the Catskills is the breathtaking Onteora Scout Reservation in Livingston Manor, New York. Nicknamed “Land in the Sky,” Onteora is home to our Scouts BSA Summer Camp as well as year-round short-term camping. While many camps have struggled nationwide-many even closing-the investments made in the Onteora property over the last few years, paired with innovative program enhancements, have ensured the camp’s success.
Each summer, Onteora welcomes more than 1,000 Scouts with a robust program offering more than 85 merit badges in 17 diverse program areas offering activities such as welding, robotics, space exploration, metalwork, search and rescue, and environmental science. Outdoor highlights included hiking, bike track racing, and ziplining.
